On The Other Side!

I met Elizabeth a few months ago at a fantastic workshop hosted by Justin & Mary Marantz! We immediately hit it off and quickly became workshop buddies! Much to my delight, Elizabeth and her husband/business partner/co-creative genius were planning a trip to Maine in August and we parted with plans to meet up at some point during their stay in Maine!

Fast forward a couple of weeks to my insanely excited response to Elizabeth’s suggestion that we meet up for a Day After session (or a “Love the Dress” session as she puts it!)! While Justin and I loved our wedding photos, circumstances combined to prevent our getting almost any portraits of the two of us from the day- something that has been a long held regret! We’ve meant to pull our wedding attire out ever since and have some fun portraits done, so Elizabeth & Ryan’s willingness to take time out during their vacation to work with us just sent us through the roof!! Immediately we began putting together Pinterest inspiration boards and thinking about venues! We decided on Eagle Lake in Acadia National Park, near Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island. It couldn’t have been more beautiful, more fun, or more “us” and we just had SUCH an incredible time with Elizabeth & Ryan!!

I could rant and rave all day about all of the fun we had, how crazy it felt to be on the other side of the camera (talk about having to squelch my self consciousness!), and how much I just LOVE Elizabeth & Ryan, but head over to their blog to see the fantastic job they did capturing Justin and I…you can view post 1 here and post 2 here!

This is just a glimpse pulled from their blog

Thank you thank you thank you, Elizabeth & Ryan!!!!!
