I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Anne and James’s incredible wedding at Laudholm Farm on the Wells Reserve in Wells, Maine!! Between stunning details set against a gorgeous rustic farm backdrop, the crazy clouds that moved in with Hurricane Irene, and the international flair of friends and family attending from places like Venezuela, Spain, and France, it would have been easy to overlook the very best part- a couple so filled with love and happiness that it quite literally emanated from them all day!! Joyfully expecting their first child, Anne and James clearly felt that they had much to be celebrating and there was just so much laughter and hugging and boisterous congratulations!! So awesome!!!
But I’m getting ahead of myself! First things first! So let’s start with the getting ready portion of the day!!
Anne and James incorporated a traditional exchange of coins into their ceremony and the coins that they used were the same ones that Anne’s parents had exchanged! Originally from Spain, the coins have travelled all over the world and have been used in Anne’s family’s weddings for years! So cool!
Meanwhile, back at the farm…(ha ha!)
Anne and James’s fabulous outdoor ceremony is coming at you next!!
