Taylor & Ryan: Miami Wedding- The Ceremony!

Destination weddings are always great…it’s so fun to shoot in a new place! Add to that the fact that Taylor and Ryan’s amazing wedding was in Miami, Florida in mid-winter and I can’t even tell you how excited we were to head out of the cold for a weekend of stunning festivities!! And stunning doesn’t even begin to cover it! Amazing historic church? Check. Gorgeous designer gown and shoes? Check. Check. A hotel that not only takes your breath away with it’s grandeur, but also happened to have been a favorite hot spot of Al Capone? Checkity, check, check, check!! Fantastic food, fabulous decor, perfect weather, and a couple who just shimmered with love and you can imagine why “stunning” just falls a little short of adequately describing the weekend!

Taylor and Ryan were married in the lovely Plymouth Congregational Church in Coconut Grove!

Nothing like a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes, vintage hankies, and heirloom jewelry to make a photographer smile!

Not to mention gorgeous engraved invitations by Crane and handmade butterflies created from feathers on the train of a stunning Carolina Herrera bridal gown!! So SO amazing!!!

Umm…nothing in the world says every-girl’s-fantasy like a Tiffany’s bauble and a Carolina Herrera gown!! Oh happy day!

While Taylor was getting her gorgeousness on, Ryan was doing his own dapper best!

Taylor’s amazing flowers were created by A Basket Affair…I love the orchids and the clementines in the bridesmaids bouquets!

I just love the look on a groom’s face when he sees his bride coming down the aisle!!

Taylor surprised Ryan with a vintage Rolls Royce Phantom getaway car…absolutely fantastic!!

And away they go!

Taylor and Ryan’s portraits and beautiful wedding details are up next!! Happy Wednesday!!
