Peter was another of the amazing Keene High Interactors who worked so hard in El Salvador! I was so excited when he wanted to come up to Portland to shoot his senior portraits and we had a ball playing around the Old Port capturing who he is at this pivotal time in life! I’ve said it before, but I just can’t get over how floored I am by the work that Peter and his counterparts put into not only making the best of their high school experience, but using their experiences to make the lives of those around them better. It’s common practice to believe that today’s youth somehow care less, take less responsibility, but Peter is a perfect example of how unfair that stereotype can be! He spends his free time raising money to build houses in El Salvador, which means oh-so-glamorous tasks like delivering flowers, picking up trash after Nascar races, working the food booths at the Keene Pumpkin Festival…all so that he can give up his winter break to put in long hours of manual labor in Talnique come February. I am so excited to share some of his senior portraits here!!
Peter! You are awesome!
