Missy & Mike: Popham Beach Wedding!!

Missy and Mike have style. That’s all there is to it. You may remember their engagement session, complete with red Vespa and a replica of a Bob Dylan album cover. Style. Lots and lots of it.

What they also have is a support system of family and friends who turned out in droves to be with them as they said their vows and made their commitments to one another official. Missy and Mike asked their guests to dress all in white and it was just so cool to see everyone in this awesome, beachy monochromatic wave as they moved back and forth between the Popham Beach Club and the waterfront. They had guests from all over the world, from Ireland to Asia, and Missy’s own experience living in Japan was reflected in the thousands of handfolded paper cranes bedecking the custom welded chandelier as well as the wedding cake {the most AMAZING Japanese strawberry shortcake created by none other than the food-geniuses at Miyake Restaurants!}! Absolutely stunning!!

It was an evening so filled with relaxed laughter, easy conversation, and just plain ol’ love…a truly magical day!!!

The crew from Blue Elephant Catering rocked it as usual! One of my favorite caterers EVER to work with!!

Missy and Mike came together over music. As a matter of fact, it was Mike’s skills playing a little jazz on the saxophone that first caught Missy’s eye! So it was only natural that he play and then sing her a little song…swoon!!

Mike’s not the only one with musical talent! A friend arranged a special rendition of “I Will” for Missy and her back-up singers to perform for Mike! Love love LOVE!!!

The cake. There are simply no words to adequately capture the utter scrumptiousness going on here! A. Mazing.

Missy and Mike scheduled a little portrait time at sunset…have I mentioned how incredible 15 minutes in the right light can be???

They finished the evening with limoncello shots and sparklers on the beach…what a way to wrap up!!

Missy & Mike, you guys are just AWESOME!!! Congratulations again!!
