One of the first memories that I have of Lauren is from a family wedding more than ten years ago. She was this little kid with multi-colored rubber bands in her hair and a shy smile. Time has flown by as it so often does and Lauren has grown from that child to this stunning woman about to head out into the world to see what she can make of it! We had a ridiculously good time running around Wolfe’s Neck State Park shooting her senior portraits and I’m more than a little excited to share them! Here are just a tiny few of my many favorites from her session…

Hanh and Nived are getting married TOMORROW! So this seemed like the perfect the to share their Portland engagement session with you! These two are unflappable! When our sunset session got rained out, they were totally game to rise and shine in the wee hours to shoot at sunrise the next morning! We wandered Fort Williams park, the Portland Headlight, and the Old Port as the sun inched into the sky and we were rewarded for our efforts with a perfect morning!
Thanks so much, Hanh & Nived!! I can’t wait to see you guys tomorrow!! Woo hoo!!
Jill is awesome on approximately 657 different levels. Don’t let her utter drop-dead-gorgeousness distract you- she is also super smart, an incredible athlete, and highly motivated, all in addition to being warm and outgoing and just really fun to be around! She’s the real deal, y’all!
Forgive me, I know that I’m sharing too many images here, but it was simply impossible to NOT overshare…I mean, seriously, she has the BEST smile!
Thank you so much, Jill!! You are awesome!!!!
You may remember Rachel & Charlie’s rustic vintage inspired wedding last year (remember her awesome 50’s style dress and incredible teal shoes?). This spring, I was delighted to travel back to North Carolina to spend a day with them and capture some of the excitement as they prepare for the coming of their first child! We hit up the Durham Farmer’s Market as well as making a few necessary stops at a fantastic bakery and ice cream shop and then captured some shots with their three precious fur-babies before heading to the Eno River park system for some gorgeous maternity portraits in the forest. It was a perfect day and I couldn’t be more excited for these two incredible people who are destined to be absolutely amazing parents.
Rachel & Charlie- I couldn’t be happier for both of you! Congratulations and I can’t wait to help welcome your wee one!!
One of the best aspects of the work that I do is being a tiny part of the story as a couple becomes a family. Sometimes those families grow past the two who began them and I get to be a part of that as well. Kerri and Phil began their family back in 2011 and their sweet baby girl joined them last year. I was so excited when they invited me into their home to capture their beautiful family of three!
Kerri & Phil, it was so wonderful to spend the day with you!! Thank you for inviting me into your lives!
