Cream & Sugar: Lazy Dogs!

I realized this afternoon that I never shared any images from our little sneak-away overnight to Acadia back in early September! While I promise to share more once I’ve caught up a little on my editing, I couldn’t help but think you’d all appreciate a little laugh on this fine Tuesday afternoon!

It would seem that our little fluff ball isn’t really a fan of hiking. She doesn’t like to get her feet dirty and hills are waaaaaaayyyy too much effort. On this particular hike, she got a little way up the trail only to sit down, look imploringly at Justin and I, and wag her tail. No amount of coaxing helped. So Justin picked her up and carried her. All the way up. All 40 pounds of her. And she may or may not have actually fallen asleep before we reached the top.

In case I wasn’t already aware that Justin is the most patient and giving man on earth, here’s one more piece of evidence to file away. With hilarity.

I give you Tessie, the world’s laziest diva of a dog!

Happy Tuesday!!

I still can’t get over this. Sometimes I’m not even sure that girl is full-blooded dog! The hilarity of this is made all the more real seeing it in pictures!

Tessie almost looks light when caught in still-frame. I’m so glad we don’t have video of this.

Margaux & Amardeep: York Wedding!

As you may have noticed by their Sangeet images, Margaux and Amardeep aren’t short on family and friends who not only clearly adore them, but who are ready to really get down and do some serious celebrating!! Between the amazing views of the Nubble Light at sunset, the non-stop dance floor, and the campfire s’mores to finish off the night, it was not only a beautiful day, but a warm and memorable one! Without further ado…

Their view couldn’t have been better!

As always, Blue Elephant Catering made sure that the bride & groom actually had a chance to sample the scrumptious food!

Margaux and Amar opted for cupcakes in lieu of wedding cake, and Two Fat Cats didn’t disappoint!

Everyone had a ball in the photobooth and some of the costumes made it out to the dance floor!

S’mores finished the night off right!!

Congratulations, Margaux & Amardeep!!!

Stunning photos Cindy! What a beautiful venue for the ceremony, and I loved the hints of henna popping up on people’s arms! You captured the fun that everyone seemed to have!

Margaux & Amardeep: Sangeet!!

While I always enjoy photographing a rehearsal dinner, I have to admit that Margaux and Amardeep’s Sangeet was especially fantastic! The color and sparkle are a photographer’s dream, while the music and dancing and ritual and just full-on pouring out of love warms my heart and keeps a ridiculous smile plastered on my face!! I can’t wait to share this with you, so let’s jump right in!!

Sparkley bangles and bindhi were available for guests to take part!

How amazing are Margaux & Amardeep?!?!?

Mehndi was available as well…SO fun!!!

The dancing!!!! Amazing!!!
