Erika and Jimmy have known each other for a long time. Long enough to have once “dated” and “broken up” because their parents said they were too young to “date”! But all these years later, here they are…planning their wedding and building a life together! They traveled up from their home on the New Jersey coast to spend a little time on the one here in Maine and we had a ball wandering around the always darling Boothbay Harbor for their engagement session last month! Erika and Jimmy, y’all!
Annie and Benjy are one of those couples who just get one another. They share a love of the Clash as well as indie or punk music from just about any era and hit up Brighton Music Hall or Paradise Rock Club to catch shows on a regular basis. Annie can text Benjy a photo of a cute dog she works with and he eats it up, while Benjy can share his PhD-in-Economics ideas with Annie and she loves to soak it in. They have a language all their own and a relationship built on mutual respect and real admiration. The afternoon I spent shooting their engagement session was a total blast and I just loved hanging out and watching these two in action! Considering that the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is drop dead gorgeous and one of my favorite places, it was no surprise that this awesome couple pulled together a beautiful, wonderful day! Add to the backdrop Annie’s killer vintage style, a tremendous group of family and friends, and perfect weather and it’s no wonder this was such an incredible day!
Thank you so much, Annie & Benjy!!

You may remember Kelsy and Kevin’s stunning wedding last summer at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens…it was gorgeous! The images from that amazing day have appeared in Real Maine Weddings Magazine, Maine Invites You 2014 Maine wedding guide, Catersource’s Nov/Dec 2013 Celebrations issue, as well as numerous ads! Well, they’ve been featured again, this time on one of my very favorite blogs!! I am so excited and honored to see Kelsy and Kevin’s wedding featured on Well Wed:
Be sure to check out the full post here! Thank you again, Kelsy & Kevin for creating such an incredible day!
Katie’s family travels to Maine each year from their home in the Midwest to vacation here along the coast! It’s been a tradition all of Katie’s life, so she was eager to incorporate this special place into her senior portraits! We began beachside in Ocean Park before traveling to the famed Lobster Shack at Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth! We had a ridiculous amount of fun climbing around on the rocks and were treated to an exceptionally amazing sunset!
Thanks so much, Katie!!!
While Jacqui and Ian were married on the gorgeous coast of Maine earlier this summer, they actually hail from Massachusetts and wanted to do some photos there after their wedding! Lucky for me, they also opted to include the newest members of their family, sweet little Winny and Letty, tiny Boston Terrier puppies that I could have spent hours squeezing! We had a blast playing with Winny and Letty for a bit and then headed to World’s End to take advantage of the last of the day’s light!
Thank you so much, Jacqui & Ian!! It was so great to spend another afternoon with you and to meet your wonderful fur-babies!!
